This Information Collection, Use and Disclosure Practice of Sync This policy applies to Sync's collection, use, storage, and disclosure of information by Syncon its (a) websites, including all its divisions, subsidiaries, and related companies (collectively, the "Websites"), (b) on various third party websites, and (c) to Sync's other information collection, including the purchase of customer lists from third parties. Sync disclaims all responsibility for the collection and use of information by third party websites or applications.

1. Collection of Information.
1.1 Questionnaire details. It collects information from users through various channels, such as but not limited to when a user informs Sync of a survey, order form, or a registration page either online or offline, printouts thereof, mailed in or faxed, submitted via e-mail, or other existing registrants, (collectively, a "Survey"). (As used herein, "online" means using the Internet, including the Websites, and related technologies, and "offline" means by methods other than online, including in person, in the postal mail, using telephones and cell phones, and other similar means.) In the Surveys, Sync or a third party (a "Third Party") may request an individual to provide various information to Sync, which may include his or her name, email address, street address, zip code, telephone numbers (including cell phone numbers and carriers), birth date, gender, salary range, education and marital status, occupation, social security number, employment information, personal and online interests, and such other information as may be requested from time to time (together, "Survey Information").
Sync may also obtain information about an individual from another source and merge that information with information received from this web site. All Surveys are strictly voluntary, and individuals have no obligation to provide the Survey Information to Sync or to Third Party; however, an individual may be incentivized by Sync or a Third Party in exchange for providing Survey Information to Sync.

1.2 Other Information.

1.3 Cookies, Web beacons, and other information collected through technology.
Sync currently uses cookie and web beacon technology to link certain Internet-related information about an individual with information about the individual in our database. In addition, in the future, Sync may use new and emerging sources of information (collectively, "Technology Information").

(a) Cookies. A cookie is a small amount of data that is stored on the hard drive of the individual's computer, allowing Sync to identify the individual with his or her corresponding data that resides in Sync 's database. For more information about cookies, see http://cookiecentral.com. To use all of the features and functionality of the Websites, users of the Websites are required to accept cookies.

(b) Web Beacons.
A Web beacon is code embedded in a web page that will load an image on the web page but also can be used to transfer the unique user identification of an individual, commonly in the form of a cookie, to a database and associate the individual with previously acquired information about an individual in a database.
This permits Sync to keep track of some of the web sites which a user actually access as when surfing the net. Web beacons enable identification of products or services that a user would be interested in and identification of online behavior characteristics to apply in marketing. For instance, Sync may embed, following prior agreement with a third party web site, a web beacon on the third party's web site where fishing products are sold.
If a person whose profile is available in the database of Sync visits the fishing website, then the web beacon would give notice to Sync that Bill visited the fishing site and then update Bill's profile with the information that he is interested in fishing. Then Sync would may present offers of fishing related products and services to Bill.
Beyond the use of web beacons on site, Sync also employs e-mail messages. E-mail messages are sent to individual information held in the database managed by Sync using web beacons.

(c) Emerging Technoloty.
This use of technology on the Internet with a cookie or web beacon is changing at a faster rate than the use of Sync in new and evolving technologies. Therefore, Sync requests an individual review of this policy to ascertain whether it has changed its use of technology.

1.4 External information.
Sync may receive information about individuals from third parties or other sources of information not within Sync, including information that may located in public databases ("Outside Information").

If Sync obtains actual knowledge that it has collected personal information from such a child, that information shall be deleted immediately from our database. Because its services do not collect such information, Sync does not have and is not using any personal information from children under 13 and accordingly has no such information to turn over to third parties.
Sync developed this policy based on the requirements of the COPPA guidelines of the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act.
